Anyone else feel a chill hearing about all those shell casings at the Myrtle Avenue scene? 35 casings is just an overwhelming number. I can’t even begin to imagine how terrifying those final moments must have been for Andre, Darren, and John. It’s horrifying to think about the chaos and the level of violence involved. My heart goes out to their families who had to hear about their loved ones going through something like this. Gun violence keeps ripping through lives, and it's just so tragic that these men became statistics in such a brutal way. I really hope the trial brings out more details and that justice is served. The thought that this was part of some transaction or deal that went so wrong... it's just all too much. Let's hope there are lessons learned here and some changes that can help prevent other families from experiencing similar pain.
