I’ve been reading through the posts about Evelyn Whitson Bailey, and I just can’t shake the feeling of sadness thinking about her final days. Even though it was determined to be an assisted suicide, it must have been an unimaginably difficult decision for her son-in-law. It's clear he loved her deeply, and was driven by a need to end their suffering. It breaks my heart to think of someone with such love and dedication feeling like there was no other option. Alzheimer's can be such a cruel disease, and I hope their family finds some peace in knowing they are together now, free from the pain they both endured. Sending love and strength to her family and all those who knew and loved Evelyn. She must have been a remarkable woman. ?
