Did anyone else find it odd how Earl Dean Stipe was able to forge Lucille's signature on those checks so easily? I mean, they only knew each other for a few months before she moved to Montana. Wouldn't it take more time to be able to convincingly replicate someone's writing? It makes me wonder if Lucille might have trusted him more than we realize, or if they got too close too fast for comfort. How familiar was he with her personal and financial details? The pawning of her belongings is another red flag, but the signature forgery just keeps nagging at me. Could there be others involved who might have known more about Lucille than we think? Anyone else have thoughts or insights on this aspect?
