I’ve been following Preston Stepney’s case since it happened, and I keep thinking about how frustrating it must be for his family and friends not to have answers after all this time. He seems like he was such a dedicated and loving person, especially with how everyone describes his passion for working on cars. It’s tough knowing someone so caring could be taken so senselessly. I really hope more people come forward with information. It’s these small details that can help detectives piece everything together. Also, major kudos to everyone who keeps his memory alive and continues pushing for justice. Hopefully, those efforts pay off soon. Anyone here have any tips on how we can further spread awareness about cold cases like his?
Hi everyone,
I'm a bit new here but have been following the tragic case of Preston Stepney. Like many of you, I've been really struck by how much this has affected his family and community. It's been over six years now, and it feels like Preston has become another victim in a list of unresolved cases that sadly keep growing in St. Louis.
I can't help but think about the children he left behind and the hole they must feel in their lives without their dad around. It's tough knowing they might not have any closure yet. Those innocent kids have lost their father, who by all accounts from his family and friends was a devoted dad and a positive presence. This shouldn't be a common story in any community.
For anyone with even the smallest piece of information, it's worth reaching out to the St. Louis PD or CrimeStoppers. Justice for Preston is long overdue, and his family deserved answers yesterday. I hope that sharing his story and keeping his memory alive will lead to some new tips coming forward.
Thanks for letting me share.
