I’ve been thinking a lot about how hard this must be for James' classmates and teachers at Liberty Technology High School. Losing a friend or student like James is incredibly tough; it’s like a piece of the school is missing. I hope the school has counselors available for those who need someone to talk to during such a difficult time. It’s so important for those kids to have a space where they feel safe to express their grief and confusion. We often talk about the family’s pain, and rightfully so, but the ripple effects of such a tragedy extend far and wide. If anyone from the school reads this, just know the community is with you and you’re not alone in this. Keep supporting each other; it truly helps.
