I haven't seen much discussion about security measures at venues like Winchester Bowling Alley. It’s troubling to think that what should be a place for fun and relaxation can turn into a site of tragedy. Could better security measures have prevented the escalation that led to Lamar Smith Jr.'s death? Maybe increased surveillance or more stringent checks could deter people from bringing weapons into such public spaces. It's devastating for Lamar's family, his fiancée, and especially his young daughter, to continue grappling with such a senseless loss. The community needs to take these matters seriously and advocate for safer environments. Hopefully, by raising these concerns, we can prevent future incidents and honor Lamar's memory by pushing for change. My thoughts are with his loved ones as they seek justice.
