Has anyone else been thinking about how scary it is that these kinds of random acts of violence can happen anywhere, even in places where we feel safe, like shopping centers? It’s incredibly sad to think about those moments in Sevierville when Olivia was just spending time with family. I can’t imagine what her loved ones are going through, having their lives turned upside down in an instant like that. Many of us frequent shops and malls without a second thought, and it’s unsettling to think about how someone's normal day can end in such tragedy. My heart goes out to Olivia’s family and community; her contributions to Friendship Community showed what an amazing person she was, and she didn’t deserve this. Stay vigilant and hold your loved ones close, everyone.
