I was just reading about the murder of Dennis Carter and it's really gotten me thinking. It's so unsettling to hear that this tragic event took place during what was supposed to be a gathering among familiar faces. Dennis was a part of the Rebel motorcycle group, and you’d expect there to be camaraderie, not violence. It feels particularly unsettling because it now seems that the group harbored tensions beneath the surface that might still be unknown. With Kate Prichard, Timothy Baer, and John Cherry being suspects, all of whom were members of the same group, it adds layers of complexity to the case. How do we reconcile such violence occurring among people who were part of the same community? My heart goes out to Dennis’s family and friends as they navigate this painful time. I hope that more light is shed on why this happened. If anyone else has any insight or thoughts, I'd love to hear them.
