Has anyone else thought about the delayed reporting in Renee Pastore's case? I can’t get over how it took almost seven years before she was officially reported missing. I get that the transient lifestyle and her dealing with addiction might complicate things, but why such a long wait? It seems like a huge gap that could have made it even more difficult for investigators to find any solid leads. Families, especially those who might not be in constant contact due to lifestyle differences, should maybe have some protocol or routine check-ins. Just throwing it out there—maybe it would prevent delays like this from happening again. Thoughts?

It’s baffling how Renee Pastore’s use of the alias “Smykowski” might have played into her disappearance. If she was intentionally trying to keep under the radar, it could explain why it took so long for her family to report her missing. However, I wonder if using the alias made it more difficult for anyone who might’ve encountered her to realize she was a missing person. It’s one thing to change names in casual interactions, but if Renee used the alias regularly, it might have also hindered efforts by investigators or the public to connect the dots. Has anyone come across cases where using an alias created additional obstacles in solving a disappearance?

Has anyone looked into the tattoos Renee had, particularly the one of the Pegasus on her breast? I'm curious if these tattoos might help narrow down a timeline or location. Tattoos can be pretty identifying, and if they were showing on any old arrest photos or if someone who saw her remembers them, it might provide a clue. Maybe she met someone who took note of them or she got new ink after she disappeared? Identifying with her alias, "Smykowski," could have made it easy for her to blend in, but those tattoos are unique. Could they have been key to her personal identity or connections she made, even in transient communities? Just seems like an angle that might have potential we haven't fully considered. Anyone have thoughts on this?
