I’ve been thinking a lot about Leigh's granddaughter who managed to escape that terrible night. It's gut-wrenching to imagine what this little girl went through and how that will shape her life moving forward. She's so young and to have experienced such trauma—it's just tragic. I hope she's receiving the support and love she needs right now from family and professionals because healing from something like this takes time and care.
It must also be really difficult for her to understand why her grandfather, who was known as a kind neighbor, did something so incomprehensible. These paradoxes are what makes coming to terms with events like this incredibly challenging. Let's keep her in our thoughts and hope that she finds peace and joy in her life despite what happened. If anyone in the community hears of any way to support her or her family, please share. They should know they are not alone and that Leigh and Ty's memories are cherished by many.
Has anyone else been following the very tragic event involving Leigh Shea-Majors and her family? I’ve been thinking a lot about Leigh’s 4-year-old granddaughter who witnessed such an unimaginable scene and ran for help. It's so heartbreaking to imagine what she must be going through now. It’s hard to comprehend how this little girl found the courage to do what she did in such a terrifying moment. It truly shows amazing bravery beyond her years.
I hope she is receiving plenty of support to cope with everything she’s been through. Does anyone know if the family has indicated how she is doing now, or if any support services have been set up for her? Sending love to the family. I can't imagine the pain they are enduring right now.
