Hey everyone, I’ve been following Steven Shelton Jr.'s case and something’s been gnawing at me. What really puzzles me is the motive behind the shooting. Steven seemed like such a well-loved young man in his community, known to many as "Lul 4." It just doesn’t make sense why this young teenager, Zyshawn Lewis, would resort to such violence. Was there any indication of a previous conflict between them, or was this completely random? It breaks my heart to think of Steven’s family going through this without a clear understanding of why it happened. Just hoping those who might have additional information will speak up. Honestly, this just highlights how senseless and devastating gun violence is, especially when it involves such young lives. Keeping Steven, his family, and all affected in my thoughts.

I've been thinking a lot about the driver of the Hyundai Tucson in the tragic case of Steven Bernard Shelton Jr. It must have been so horrifying to be in that situation and see a friend in such dire circumstances. I keep wondering about the impact it's had on them, being right there when it happened and then needing to act so quickly by rushing Steven to the hospital. I hope they’re getting the support they need to cope with witnessing something so traumatic. We often focus so much on the victim and the perpetrator, but it’s easy to overlook how these traumatic events ripple out and affect those who are indirect victims, too. My heart goes out to them and everyone connected to Steven. It must be a heavy weight to carry.
