It's been over six years since we lost Oscar Long to such a senseless act of violence, and it still blows my mind that this case remains unsolved. I've been following it closely, and it often strikes me just how random and tragic it all seems. Oscar was simply taking a walk through his neighborhood. It could have happened to anyone, which makes it even more chilling. From what I've gathered, the area where Oscar was killed is usually considered safe, which just adds another layer of disbelief. It's scary to think about how quickly things can change like that. My heart goes out to Oscar's family and friends, who are still waiting for answers and justice. It must be unbelievably difficult to cope not only with the loss but also with the lack of closure. I really hope someone out there knows something and decides to come forward. Maybe the incentive of the $5,000 reward from CrimeStoppers will encourage them. It's high time Oscar's family got the peace they deserve. This community needs to rally together to shed light on what happened that day. We owe it to Oscar and his loved ones.
