It really struck me how easily Megan and Joseph's lives were taken, especially with them being familiar faces in the South Broadway area. It's such a busy part of town, yet this tragic event happened at 1:00 a.m. without anyone being able to stop it. The fact that Darnell Rogers got linked to the crime through cellphone records makes me wonder how many other pieces of digital evidence might be out there, missed or overlooked in other cases. And then to think he tried to cover his tracks by getting rid of that purse… It's unnerving how things like this might happen more often than we realize. My heart goes out to Megan and Joseph’s families—how they cope with such senseless violence is unimaginable. I'm hoping more people come forward to help get more answers and justice in this case.
