This case really strikes a chord with me, especially when thinking about Joshua Rowan's past and the vibrant life he led. It’s just so shocking to hear about someone who excelled in so many sports and touched so many lives meeting such a tragic end. Even though I didn’t know him personally, I can imagine how his athletic spirit must have positively impacted everyone around him. I find myself wondering about the team angle—did his time in team sports contribute to a strong support network? I hope his friends from those days are finding ways to support each other and his family during this impossibly difficult time. I know communities can sometimes draw closer after tragedies like this. Joshua’s story deserves to be told not just in terms of his passing, but also by all the life and energy he brought to everything he did. Sending strength and prayers to his family and the community as they continue to seek justice.
