Has anyone else been thinking about the role that community support could play in cases like Shaneka Harvell's? It's incredibly tragic what happened to her, and I just can't stop thinking about those five little ones who had to endure such an awful night. It's a small comfort to know that the authorities worked tirelessly to apprehend Cooperwood, but I wonder if there are more ways the community can step in to prevent situations from escalating so tragically. Neighbors, friends, and family often see the warning signs but might not know how to intervene or if it's even their place. Maybe if we had more accessible resources or anonymous ways to report domestic violence suspicions, it could make a difference in saving lives. My heart truly goes out to Shaneka's family and children. What are your thoughts on effective community interventions?
