Have any of you looked into the weather on the day John Adkins went missing? I know bad weather can totally sneak up when you're out at sea, and I'm curious whether a sudden storm could have been a factor. I've read some reports about unexpected conditions around the Oregon and Washington coastlines that time of year. If a storm did hit, it might explain why they lost contact so suddenly. Maybe someone here with boating experience can chime in on how these things are tracked and what kind of precautions are usually taken in situations like this?
Has anyone looked into the weather conditions around the time John Curtis Adkins went missing? Sometimes unexpected storms or rough waters can play a significant role in boating incidents. If it was just bad luck with the weather, that might explain why things went so badly. It might also be worth checking port records for any unusual activity or reports around those dates. Nature can be unpredictable, especially along the coast! Just a thought. ?️?️
Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions on the weekend John Curtis Adkins disappeared? It seems like such a small detail, but sometimes unexpected weather can really throw off plans, especially at sea. I've been checking historical weather data for the Garibaldi to Ilwaco area around that time, and it looks like there was a sudden shift on July 5th. Not sure if it's been considered thoroughly by investigators, but I was curious if anyone else thinks it could have played a role in what happened to the "Tiger" and its crew. Maybe it wasn't just a navigational or mechanical issue but compounded by the weather? Hoping others might have more insight or info on this aspect.
