Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Zachery Grooms and Chance Black, and I can’t help but think about the impact this tragedy had not just on their families, but on the broader Union City community. It’s clear from everything I've read that these young men were deeply respected and had bright futures ahead of them, serving their community in law enforcement. What really stands out to me is how their aspirations were to give back, yet they were victims of such senseless violence while engaging in a pastime they loved. Duck hunting at Reelfoot Lake should have been a peaceful outing, not one that led to this devastating loss. Does anyone know if there have been any memorials or community initiatives started in their honor? It seems like the kind of community that would rally together to support not just the families but also remind everyone of Zachery and Chance's dreams and contributions.
