I’ve been following this case and it just leaves me with a lot of questions about the rules around online gun sales. It’s such a tragedy that these deals can lead to fatal encounters like what happened to Braxton. It’s hard not to think about how easy it seemed for a 17-year-old to get his hands on a firearm and how these laws influence safety, or lack thereof, around our communities. I can't imagine the pain Braxton's family must be going through, losing someone so young and full of potential. It's a stark reminder of how critical it is to have more robust safeguards in place to prevent these senseless acts of violence. Thoughts are with his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
