Has anyone else been following Randy Lovette's case? I've been reading up on it and something that caught my attention was how close he lived to Grand River Avenue and Southfield Freeway. That area can be pretty quiet at night, which might have made him an easier target if he was indeed riding his bike home. I'm curious if there were any security cameras at nearby businesses or along the street that might have picked something up. It seems like such a busy crossroads, you’d think there would be some footage. Also, if anyone lives in the area, was there anything unusual happening around that time in terms of activity or events? Maybe there's a detail that got overlooked. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Randolph "Randy" Lovette and something that struck me is how important those tiny details in cold cases can be. I read that Randy was an athlete with a stocky build. They say he kept himself in good shape, possibly due to his military background. I'm curious, could his physical condition have been a factor in his disappearance? Like, maybe someone wanted to confront him, and it escalated? Or perhaps his athletic routine meant he was regularly in certain areas where someone could've been watching him? Also, does anyone know if that area west of Detroit was known for its bike routes or trails back then? It just seems really odd to disappear while riding a bike home. I know it’s been years, but surely there are communities or groups there that might remember seeing something unusual that night. I've been digging around, but any local insights could help piece things together. Stay safe, everyone.
