I’ve been following the case of Kevonte Hayes, and one thing that I find so difficult to understand is how this tragic incident could happen right across the street from a police precinct. I mean, 40 shots were reportedly fired—a terrifying reality for anyone nearby. It's unnerving to think the suspects could be so audacious, knowing they were essentially in plain sight. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family is going through, knowing there’s footage from the store’s surveillance but still no arrests. How do we make sense of losing someone so young, so violently, with so few answers? It’s crucial that anyone with even a hint of information steps up. I hope for nothing more than justice and peace for Kevonte’s loved ones. Let’s keep this case in the conversation—it deserves attention until those responsible are held accountable.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following Kevonte Hayes' case, and one aspect that’s really puzzling is how the shooting happened literally across the street from the Austin Peay police precinct. How can something so violent happen that close to a police presence, and yet no arrests have been made? It’s deeply unsettling. I really feel for Kevonte's family and friends — it must be incredibly frustrating knowing that it happened right under the nose of law enforcement, yet those responsible are still out there. I hope the police are staying on top of the investigation and that someone comes forward with information. It's clear that Kevonte deserves justice.

It's been over two years since Kevonte Hayes was taken from us, and it baffles me how his case remains unsolved. I keep thinking about the fact that this happened right outside a store, in broad daylight, with a camera catching everything and just across from a police precinct. How in the world did nobody see or hear something that could help track down these suspects? Kevonte was just 22 with his whole life ahead of him. I've read about his memorial service and how loved he was by his family and community. I can’t imagine the pain they must still be going through. If anyone out there knows anything, even if it seems small or unimportant, please reach out to the authorities. We all need to come together to ensure Kevonte receives the justice he deserves.
