I've been following Jarvis Triplett's case, and it's so tragic how a vibrant young life can be cut down without warning. One thing that really hits me is the sense of helplessness from the community. I keep thinking about how the "no snitching" culture is exacerbating these issues. It seems like such a significant barrier to justice not just for Jarvis, but for so many other victims too. I wish there were more programs focused on building trust between the community and law enforcement. Something like that might encourage witnesses to share what they know. Every bit of info could make a difference, and if people don’t come forward, these criminals remain free, putting more lives in danger. Sending strength and love to Jarvis' family. If anyone reading this knows anything, please think about the impact your silence has on his family and others in the community.
