It is so important to let someone know where you are. Especially if you are going hunting or hiking in the wilderness. I hope he is found someday. It took so long for them to find his truck it is disheartening.

I’ve been following David Uhl's case for a while, and something that always stuck with me is the timing around when his pickup truck was reported. Isn’t it odd that his truck was first seen on October 8 but not reported as abandoned until the 26th? I know it wasn’t initially linked to his disappearance, but it seems like a long gap for such an area known for its outdoor activities. I can’t help but wonder if someone else might have encountered him or the truck in that span and didn’t connect the dots. It's a tight-knit community around Priest Lake, and I feel like someone might have seen something and just hasn't realized it yet. Anyone local remember other vehicles or activity around Wigwam Trail during that time? Maybe there's more to uncover if we keep pushing on this front.
Has anyone else thought about why David Uhl's truck wasn’t reported sooner? It seems strange that it went unreported from when it was first spotted until almost a month later. If the truck was there with the half-full coffee cup, it suggests he may have been planning a brief stop. Given that the truck was found on the south side of the mountain, maybe it was a location he had a specific reason to visit? Could there have been something or someone he was meeting? It’s just baffling how nothing was found despite him knowing the terrain so well. I wonder if this area around the Wigwam Trail could hold more clues than what has been uncovered. It's a mystery with so many possibilities, hoping his family gets some answers someday.
Found the info about the coffee cup in David Uhl's truck to be surprisingly eerie. It's small details like these that make you wonder what really happened in those last moments. I’ve read that coffee cups can retain heat for quite a while, but does anyone know how long a half-full cup might stay warm in cooler weather? Could analyzing this have potentially helped narrow down the timeline of when he left his truck? Or perhaps it's just symbolic of how abruptly things took a turn. It's strange that with his outdoor skills, something as benign as a walk could lead to his disappearance. Maybe someone who knows about similar cases or has experience with the area can offer some insights?
