I’ve been following the case of Antoine Dashawn Hayes and can’t help but feel for his family and loved ones during this incredibly tough time. It’s devastating to think that a young man with so much ahead of him had his life cut short. I've been thinking about the location of the crime—Fallbrook Apartments. I know that area has had its difficulties, but it's concerning that such violence could take place there. Was it random or does it suggest something else? It makes me wonder about the safety measures in these communities. Are there things we as a community can do to help make these places safer, not just to prevent future tragedies but to honor the life of someone like Antoine? I hope someone comes forward with the information that’s needed. My thoughts are with his family, and I hope they find the justice and closure they deserve. I haven't stopped thinking about Antoine Dashawn Hayes since I first heard about what happened to him. It's just so upsetting how someone's life can be taken in the blink of an eye, especially in a place where people are supposed to feel safe. I really feel for his family and friends—they shouldn’t have to endure such a loss. The fact that this happened at Fallbrook Apartments is particularly worrying. I've read that a lot of families live there, and to imagine something so tragic happening right where they live is just heartbreaking. I really hope that Detective Myriah Iles and her team make progress soon. It's unsettling knowing that the suspect is still out there.
