I’ve been following the case of ZaQune Harris, and I’m struck by the senselessness of it all. An argument over $5 leading to such tragedy is just so hard to comprehend. I can’t imagine the pain ZaQune’s family and friends are going through, losing someone so young over something so trivial. It makes you wonder about the cycle of violence and how prior criminal backgrounds can play a role in escalating situations. Michael Robinson's prior conviction and being on probation make this even more upsetting. It really breaks my heart for ZaQune’s mother, who must be feeling so many conflicting emotions right now. I hope the trial brings some sense of closure and that justice is truly served. Sending strength to everyone close to ZaQune as they navigate this incredibly tough time.
