Does anyone else think it's strange that Fatima was classified as a runaway right off the bat? I mean, I get that teenagers sometimes run away, but considering her family's later statement about Mexico, shouldn't there have been more of an investigation into possible foul play? It feels like that detail might have shifted the whole direction of the search from the start. Wish someone had looked into her social circles and connections more closely. What do others think?
I was looking into Fatima Santiago-Luna's case and something that struck me is the lack of any follow-up from family or friends over the years. It's been over a decade, and while there were initial mentions that she might have gone to Mexico, it seems like there was never any concrete evidence or sightings reported. It makes me wonder if there might have been more going on than just a simple runaway situation. Did anyone close to her ever try to reach out publicly after the disappearance, or have any local news outlets done updates or features on her case since she went missing? It's odd how some cases get tons of attention, but others just fade away without resolution.
