Janie Unique Buelna was a 23-month-old girl from Phoenix, Arizona, whose ethnicity has not been specified in publicly available records. She was living in a small apartment near Interstate 17 in Phoenix with her custodial grandmother, Juanita Trevino Rodriguez, and two of Rodriguez’s roommates, Humelio Dominguez-Vazquez and Christopher Joseph Lopez, when she died in March 2011.
