I've been thinking a lot about the timelines related to Derrick's tragic case. It's so difficult to wrap my head around how swiftly life can change. From reading about the visitation and services held for him, it's evident he was deeply cherished by those around him. Preparing for such gatherings in the wake of unexpected loss must've been incredibly challenging for his family. I can't imagine how one finds the strength to celebrate a life cut short so abruptly. My heart goes out to Derrick’s loved ones, who amidst their pain, managed to honor his memory so beautifully. It's stories like these that remind us to hold our dear ones a little tighter each day. Sending strength to all affected by this senseless loss.
