Hello everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the timeline of events surrounding Susan Griffen Gorbet’s case. Has anyone else tried to piece together the exact sequence of what occurred leading up to the tragic incident? It's frustrating to know that we're still waiting for more details about what happened on June 1, 2022.
From what we know, Susan and another individual were both shot, but there’s so little information on the events prior. Were there any reports of disturbances in the area? Anyone neighbors speaking up about hearing or seeing anything unusual that day?
I’m really hoping that witnesses come forward with more information. The absence of solid leads is tough, and I can only imagine how Susan's family and friends must feel not knowing who is responsible. Let’s keep sharing any information we can find in hopes of bringing some clarity to this case.
Stay hopeful,

Hi everyone,
I’ve been following the case of Susan Griffen Gorbet very closely and can’t stop thinking about the potential challenges faced by investigators. One thing that stands out to me is the location of the crime – the 100 block of Dogwood Trail. I know Maynardville is a close-knit community, and I'm curious if anyone is familiar with that particular area.
Could it possibly be a place where people often pass through, or is it more secluded? Any thoughts on whether this might affect the investigation or the likelihood of witnesses? I feel for Susan's family and the pain they must be going through as they wait for answers. Every detail is so crucial in these kinds of cases, and I’m hoping community insights can maybe shed some light.
If you have any info or observations, please share. Let's keep supporting each other as we seek justice for Susan.
Take care, everyone.
Has anyone been following the developments in Susan Griffen Gorbet’s case? I've been thinking a lot about the lack of arrests or even a named suspect this far into the investigation. It's baffling how someone could commit such a senseless act and still be out there. The community seems to be in limbo, desperately waiting for answers.
I can’t help but wonder about the challenges faced by the Union County Sheriff's Office and the TBI in cases like these. Susan’s family and friends must be going through an unbelievably tough time right now. It's hard not to feel frustrated for them and hope that some break in the case comes soon. What do you guys think could be holding up the investigation? Could there be more evidence gathering behind the scenes than we know about? Maybe people in the area are hesitant to come forward with information for some reason?
Sending strength to those who knew and loved Susan, and hoping for justice sooner than later.
