It's so upsetting to think about Jeremy Smith losing his life this way. I've been following how the Metro Nashville Police Department piece together what happened through security footage, and the involvement of someone like Labrian Elliott, with his criminal background, just adds another layer of tragedy. It seems like there were so many opportunities to intervene before things escalated to this point. I'm curious about the role of community and preventive measures. If actions like Elliott’s past criminal activities had been addressed differently, maybe this entire situation could have been avoided. My heart goes out to Jeremy's family and friends, who are left dealing with this immense loss. It’s important to keep discussing these topics and supporting efforts to prevent violence and support those in need.
