Did anyone else catch the detail about Alejandro Espinola being last seen at Monrovia Canyon Park? I'm curious about why he was there and if it's been a focus of the investigation. It’s unusual for someone in the military to go AWOL without a trace like this. I wonder if he was meeting someone or if it was a place he frequently visited? Considering it's 140 miles from Fort Irwin, it seems unlikely he just randomly ended up there. If anyone's local or has been following the search closely, are there updates about the searches in the park area or any potential sightings around there? It's puzzling that both he and his car essentially vanished without a trace. Would love to hear more thoughts or theories on this. Stay safe out there, everyone.
Hey everyone, I've been digging into the recent disappearance of Alejandro Espinola, and something caught my eye that I wanted to discuss. I noticed that Espinola's car, a 2018 black Hyundai Elantra GT hatchback, still hasn't been located. Monrovia Canyon Park is the last known area where he was seen, and given that it's quite a distance from his base at Fort Irwin, I wonder if anyone has heard of any other sightings of similar vehicles in towns nearby or on any major highways leading out of the area. It seems like tracking down the car could be a big lead in figuring out what happened to him. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on where a vehicle like that might turn up, or if there are any areas that haven't been searched thoroughly yet?
Has anyone been to Monrovia Canyon Park recently? I hike there occasionally, and this is just so puzzling to me. Alejandro Espinola was spotted there before he vanished. It's a pretty sizeable area with lots of trails. I wonder if anyone checked trail cams, if they even have them up in that park. Also, his car's still missing, right? Seems unusual for nothing to have turned up with it being a pretty distinct vehicle. I hope they've got eyes out at the trailheads and parking areas. Maybe someone saw something unusual.
