I’ve been researching the case of Patrolman Charles F. Finn, and while much of the focus is understandably on the tragic loss of such a promising young officer, I can’t help but wonder about the other two burglars involved in that fateful night. It's frustrating how details about them seem almost non-existent. Were they ever caught, or did they just vanish from the records after the initial incident? There surely must have been efforts to track them down given the severity of the crime. If anyone has come across any information or old news clippings, please share. I hope they didn’t just slip through the cracks after such a terrible event. Thoughts and prayers to Patrolman Finn's family and colleagues, who surely endured such a difficult time.
