Has anyone looked into whether there was any significant activity in the area around March 11, 1981, that might provide clues about what happened to Jerry Brightwell? I read a bit about his case, and it seems like there must have been someone who saw or heard something. It's such a close-knit community; you would think more details would have emerged by now.
My heart goes out to Jerry's family and friends—his vibrant spirit shouldn’t have been dimmed so soon. It sounds like he brought a lot of joy to those who knew him. It’s been over 40 years since Jerry Brightwell's life was brutally cut short, and yet his case remains unsolved. I’ve been reading some old articles and community posts, and it’s clear how much Jerry was loved and how deeply his absence is felt, even today.
