Have you all ever considered the influence of mental health support (or the lack thereof) in cases like Sharon Mazzillo's? George Banks had a documented history of mental health issues, and it seems like there might have been warning signs leading up to the tragedy. I wonder if there were opportunities for intervention that could have potentially prevented the loss of so many innocent lives. It's absolutely devastating to think about what Sharon and her family went through that day, and my heart goes out to everyone touched by this massacre, especially the young survivors. It makes me question what kind of mental health resources and preventative measures were available at the time and how much progress we've made (or need to make) in ensuring similar tragedies don't happen again. Thoughts?
