I've been following Stephen Allen Ducat's case and recently came across an interesting angle. Has anyone else looked into the possible significance of why Stephen wanted to walk to Defiance, Ohio? It's quite a trek from the state line. Did he have ties there, or was he planning to meet someone? The location choice seems too specific to be random. If anyone has insight or has dug into his connections or history with Defiance, I'd love to discuss it. Could be a missing piece we need to explore more!
