Has anyone else been struck by the lack of information on Michael Lee "Crunch" Proctor's case? It's so distressing to think about how some lives can be almost forgotten because of the scarcity of public records or media coverage. It’s like he disappeared without a trace, and his story never fully got told.
One thing that really resonates with me is the minimal effort to memorialize him. I've only read about a few candles being lit in his memory. I wonder if there's anything more we could collectively do to honor his life, maybe by organizing a larger vigil or creating a memorial page online where people can share memories or stories about him. I'm sure his family and friends would appreciate knowing that he’s not forgotten.
Also, has anyone tried looking into local archives or old newspaper clippings? Given that official records are so sparse, maybe personal stories or smaller, local papers could shed some light on his life and the investigation. Even though it's been decades, it feels crucial to keep his memory alive and maintain some hope for justice. If anyone has ideas or wants to collaborate on digging deeper, I’d love to hear them.
