I've been thinking a lot about the importance of the community in helping solve Orlando Harris's murder. It’s been over two decades, yet it feels like this case is as fresh as ever in people’s minds, especially for those close to him. I can't begin to imagine how his family and friends have managed to keep their hope alive all these years. It's hard to understand why no one has come forward with crucial information in a case like this.
From what I’ve read, Orlando was sitting in his car, possibly unsuspecting that his life was about to be taken so violently. The time and location could mean there were more potential witnesses or someone who might remember something that could help. The $4,000 reward offered by the Citizen’s Crime Commission might just be the incentive needed to encourage someone to finally speak up.
If anyone out there remembers anything from that night, even the smallest detail could be the missing piece of the puzzle. It's crucial for the community to support the ongoing investigation for Orlando's family to find the justice and peace they so deserve. It’s never too late to come forward.
