Has anyone else been following the case of Hakim Hinson? I've been thinking about the impact this senseless act of violence has had on his family and the Chester community. It’s so disheartening to see young lives taken so abruptly. I've read that the investigation hasn’t provided much in terms of leads or reliable information. Does anyone know if any community initiatives have been started in Hakim's memory, maybe to promote peace or bring attention to gun violence? It just seems like we owe it to him and others who've suffered to try and create positive change. Hoping his family feels the support and love from those of us who never knew him but mourn his loss. ?
