I’ve been following Geray Campbell's case closely, and I can't stop thinking about the community's role in cases like this. Geray's murder wasn't just a loss for his family but for the residents of north Minneapolis too. It's frustrating how violence can happen in our neighborhoods, and yet sometimes it feels like these incidents fade into the background. I’ve seen posts about how the community around Folwell Park feels powerless, but I still believe there’s strength in numbers. Maybe it’s time for residents to come together and voice their concerns more strongly to push for justice not only for Geray but for all unresolved cases in the city. Safety in these areas hinges on addressing this issue collectively. Has anyone else in Minneapolis noticed community efforts that have successfully pushed investigations forward? What can we all do to help combat this presiding silence? Geray's family deserves answers, and I hope our collective voice can make a difference.

I’ve been following the ongoing discussion about Geray Christiaan Campbell’s case, and something that keeps coming to my mind is the community’s role in seeking justice for him. It’s incredibly frustrating to see such a vibrant life cut short and yet see no substantial movement towards finding the person responsible. It’s been almost ten years since that tragic night on Girard Avenue, yet there seems to be a silence hovering around the investigation. Sometimes I wonder if there are witnesses who might be hesitant to come forward due to fear of repercussions or maybe just a lack of trust in the system. Community trust and protection for those willing to speak are so crucial. To those who knew Geray, my heart goes out to you. I hope the memories you cherish remind you of his light. Let's hope awareness and persistent dialogue will eventually lead to justice for Geray. Has anyone in the group here seen any local initiatives or have ideas on how we can keep this case in the public eye? Every bit helps.

Does anyone else think it's really troubling how Geray's case and so many others in Minneapolis remain unsolved? I was just reading about how shootings like this seem to keep happening, and it's so sad that families like his are left with so many unanswered questions. I can't imagine the pain his loved ones must feel, knowing that whoever did this is still out there. Has there been any community action or efforts to push for more resources or attention on cases like his? It just seems like something more needs to be done to bring justice to him and others. My thoughts are with his family and everyone else affected.
