I’ve been thinking a lot about Emil Donte Smith’s case lately, especially about the hardworking detectives, Todd Nuttall and Michael Palmer. It must be so tough to handle such a complex investigation with so little to go on. It breaks my heart to imagine the frustration they and Emil's family must feel as they strive for answers. Chester has been grappling with violent crime for some time, and it’s such a painful reminder of how much more needs to be done for safety and justice in the community. Even though it’s been years, I truly hope witnesses will come forward with information that can help solve this case. Emil and his loved ones deserve closure.
