I’ve been following Edward "Lil Butch" Ware’s case, and something has been on my mind lately. The fact that it happened in a seemingly routine part of his day, just getting out of his car, really hits me. It makes you realize how these crimes can happen so suddenly, and in places that feel familiar and safe to us.
The community's ongoing support and efforts to bring attention to his case are inspiring, but it’s truly frustrating that despite these efforts, there hasn't been a breakthrough in identifying the suspect. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for his family and friends, to not only grieve but also be actively involved in seeking justice for so long.
For those who knew Edward, or even those who just wanted to support the cause, his memory seems like a beacon of resilience and shared grief. I hope that continued awareness and community solidarity can eventually bring about the justice that Edward and his family deserve. If anyone has thoughts or ideas on how to renew focus on this case or ways to help, I’d love to hear them.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the case of Edward "Lil Butch" Ware for a while, and there's one detail that's been on my mind. I read that the robbery happened right at the intersection of 4th and Hayes Street. Has anyone from Chester noticed or heard if that area has surveillance cameras in place now or had them back then in 2011? It feels like a public space where cameras might have been helpful in identifying suspects. It’s so tough to think that such an important piece of the puzzle could be missing if there weren't any. I truly hope Edward's family can get the answers they deserve soon. If anyone nearby has seen or noticed anything, even if it seems small, it might be worth sharing. Every bit of information helps, especially when a family is out there seeking justice.
