I can't stop thinking about Juana Carmen Nunez's daughters. Living through such a horrible ordeal and losing both parents and an aunt in an instant must have been incredibly traumatizing for them. The impact on those young girls is just unimaginable. I'm really hoping they've found a strong support system within the community to help them navigate their grief and trauma. It's good to know that the community loved the Nunez family so much, and I hope they've rallied around the girls. If anyone has information on any charity or support groups set up for the family, please share it here. This tragedy highlights the urgent need for resources and support for families affected by violent crime. ?️

Does anyone remember the community vigil that was held for the Nunez family right after the tragic events at Lorena's Grocery Store? I wasn't able to attend, but I heard it was incredibly moving. It's difficult to imagine the depth of the pain that Juana Carmen Nunez’s daughters must have felt, losing both parents and an aunt in one horrific moment. From what I’ve read, the community really rallied together to support them in such a difficult time. It’s heartening to see that despite the darkness, the neighborhood came together to honor the Nunez family's memory and offer some light. I hope that their daughters have found some peace in knowing that so many people care about them and their family. Does anyone have any more stories from that day or how the community has continued to support them since? It’s important we remind ourselves of the ongoing impact of these events and keep their memories alive.

Hi everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the two young daughters who witnessed the tragedy at Lorena's Grocery Store. I can’t even begin to imagine the trauma and pain they went through, seeing something so horrific happen to their family right in front of them. Has anyone come across any information on how they are doing now, years after the incident? It’s so important for survivors like them to get the support they need, but I haven’t found much on what kind of help, if any, they received. The community seemed really supportive back then, which is heartening, but the journey through grief and trauma is long and hard. If anyone knows of organizations or resources that assist families affected by violent crimes, especially in the Philadelphia area, it’d be great to share them here. Their resilience is inspiring, and I hope they’ve found some peace over the years. ?
