Does anyone else find the intersection of Breon’s love for math and his unfortunate involvement with the drug trafficking organization particularly poignant? I think it’s easy for outsiders to label those involved in such activities as purely criminal, but Breon's passion for subjects like math reveals a different layer to his character. It makes you wonder what might have been if he had the opportunity to channel his intelligence and interests into a different path. It’s so tragic that someone with so much potential got swept up in a situation like this. My heart goes out to his grandmother and family, who must miss not only the man he was but the man he could have become. It's a stark reminder of how these elements creep into neighborhoods and lives, altering destinies and leaving families to piece together the legacy of their loved ones in the aftermath.
