Hey everyone, I haven't been able to get the image of Steven Hackney's daughter, Quiana, out of my mind. During the trial, she talked so bravely about the pain of losing her father and how he'll miss her high school graduation. I can't even begin to imagine growing up without such an important figure at those milestones. It got me thinking about the emotional scars left on the family, especially the children, in the wake of such senseless violence. It's awful to see how the selfish acts of a few can ripple outwards and change so many lives forever. I hope that Hackney’s family finds some strength and healing in one another as they navigate life without him. Does anyone know if there's a fund or support group set up for families like his? If there is, I'd love to help spread the word.

Has anyone else been thinking about the role Taylor Griffith played in this tragic case? It's disturbing to think someone Hackney knew could betray him in such a horrifying way. It's tough to understand how someone could let greed and manipulation lead to such a devastating outcome. My heart goes out to Steven's daughter, Quiana, and the entire family. I can't imagine the grief they must feel, knowing someone close contributed to this tragedy. What are everyone's thoughts on Griffith's reduced sentence for testifying? It must be incredibly difficult for the family to process how justice is served in these situations.
