I was reading about Roy Lee Davis's story and can't help but think about the impact he must have had on those around him as "The President." It’s gut-wrenching that someone who seemed to bring people together and inspire others could be taken in such a senseless act. North Minneapolis has faced so many challenges with unsolved cases piling up, and it's frustrating to see families left without answers. I can only imagine how difficult it is for those who loved Roy to move forward without closure. The lack of witness cooperation in these cases is concerning, but I understand the fear that people might feel about coming forward. I genuinely hope that anyone who knows even the smallest detail finds the courage to speak up. The community deserves justice, and Roy deserves to be remembered not just for how he died but for how he lived and led others by example.
