Just came across the John Hudak case and can't help but wonder if there's something more going on near Riverside Drive. I mean, it's such a busy area with locals and tourists, especially with the Mississippi River and all those cool spots around there. With no financial activity since his disappearance, it doesn’t seem like he planned on going far or being gone long. Has anyone looked into whether similar disappearances have happened in that area?
Also, does anyone remember if there were any events or festivals happening in Memphis around September 13, 2013? Just thinking there might have been more foot traffic or witnesses around that time. I hope in reading through this case more, someone mentions if there’s been any effort to go over old CCTV footage from businesses in the area. Maybe something got overlooked?
Hey everyone,
I've been following the John Hudak case and I'm puzzled by something—the timing of the missing person's report. Joyce didn't report John missing until nine days after he disappeared. I know everyone deals with situations differently, and maybe she thought he just needed space, but nine days feels like a really long time before alerting authorities, especially given his health conditions. It just has me wondering if there might be more to the story.
Does anyone know if there was any particular reason for the delay in reporting? Could it have affected the progress of the investigation? I'm still hopeful that we might find some answers eventually.
What does everyone else think?

Has anyone else been looking into the area where John Hudak was last seen on Riverside Drive? I was doing some digging on any unsolved missing person cases in Memphis and found his story. One thing that sticks out to me is the proximity to the river. It makes me wonder if the authorities have thoroughly searched the riverbanks and the water itself? I remember similar cases where people just disappeared near bodies of water, and sometimes clues don't resurface for years, if at all. Just curious if they've considered this angle or if there were any environmental factors at play that evening—like bad weather or high water levels—that might have made it harder for him to return safely. Anyone with knowledge about this specific area or any local search efforts care to comment?
