I've been following the Denise Wilkinson case, and one thing that really stands out to me is the tragic failure of the system to protect her. It's so infuriating that William was on probation and still managed to get a hold of a firearm. With his past history of violence, there should have been more safeguards in place. It's just devastating to think about how this all could have been prevented. Denise seemed like such a beautiful soul, bringing positivity to everyone around her, and it's hard to understand how the system let her down. My heart goes out to her daughter and family who have to live with this loss. It's so important we talk about these loopholes so hopefully no one else has to go through something so unimaginable.
