I've been following the case of Eric Ramos for a while now, and what really strikes me is the seeming lack of witness testimony despite the shooting taking place in a somewhat busy area in front of that mini-mart. It's so tragic to think about how there might have been people nearby who could have seen or heard something that could lead to justice for Eric and his family. It makes me wonder if fear of retaliation is keeping potential witnesses silent. Understanding the community dynamics, it's sadly not uncommon for people to hesitate about coming forward. My heart goes out to Eric’s loved ones, who are seeking closure and answers. If anyone reading this knows something, no matter how small, I hope they find the courage to share it with the authorities or even anonymously. Eric deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.
