I recently came across the case of Meshach Brighty, and something that really stood out to me was how the community reacted in the aftermath of his tragic death. It must have been incredibly tough for his friends and family, and I was heartened to see how local residents came together to support one another during such a difficult time. From organizing vigils to creating murals in Meshach’s memory, it seemed like there was a genuine effort to honor his life and call for change. It's yet another reminder of how essential community strength and solidarity are, especially when faced with senseless violence. Has anyone else heard about other initiatives taken by communities in Philly to cope and heal from tragedies like this?
