Has anyone looked into John Hilderbrandt's digital footprint before he disappeared? There's often a trail left via emails, messages, or social media activity that might give clues about his state of mind or if he planned to go away. I know it was 2013, and people weren't as attached to their phones then as they are now, but I think it's worth considering that he might have communicated something online that could provide a direction for investigators to follow up on. His sudden vanishing without word seems so out of character since it sounds like he was in regular touch with people. Just a thought. Any insights or thoughts from others?
Was anyone else puzzled by the fact that no electronic footprints were left by John Hilderbrandt after he disappeared? In this day and age, it seems so difficult to completely drop off the grid. Even if someone wants to start over, completely erasing their digital presence is really challenging. From social media to banking transactions to cell phone pings, traces are usually left behind. The absence of any digital trail in John's case is pretty baffling and makes me wonder if there's more at play here. It's like he vanished without a trace, which in 2013, would require some serious planning or help. Thoughts?
