Has anyone else looked into the connections between Edgar "Jimmy" Robinette and Steven Gest's past interactions? I've been digging through some old community boards, and there were a few mentions of their disputes over property lines and noise complaints. It's so strange that despite the blood evidence and the arrest, nothing ever came of the charges against Gest. Now that he's passed away, it feels like there's a wall blocking our understanding of what really happened. Could there be more witnesses who haven't come forward yet? Or maybe others in Cascade River Park who might know some history that hasn't been shared? With the confirmation of Jimmy's remains, it's troubling that his family still doesn't have the full story. Just thinking out loud here, but maybe there's someone who remembers something small that could fit a missing piece to this puzzle.

Hey folks, I've been digging into Edgar "Jimmy" Robinette's case, and I can't help but wonder about the blood found in Steven Gest's home and vehicle. It seems really strange that charges were never filed despite what seems like pretty significant evidence. Does anyone else find it odd that nothing more came from that? I know Gest can't provide any answers now, but surely there must have been something more that could have been pursued back then. It just feels like there are a lot of pieces missing in how this investigation was handled. If anyone has more insights or thoughts, I'd love to hear what the community thinks about this part of the case.
